Dining: Jan Barboglio designer dog bowl
Every now and again, one's human delightfully surprises one. Ginger the spoiled big city Sheltie here. For the longest time, my human had on his Carrera marble mantleplace an adorable Cochinito Money Bank designed by the ever fabulous Jan Barboglio. Little did I know, he was saving his pennies and even those stray Euro coins to buy me Jan Barboglio's Small Crown pet bowl. Inspired by the romance of historic Mexico, this bowl has added to the joy I take in eating pollo in red mole, carne asada and foie gras pate. So foie gras isn't Mexican; shoot me. The handcrafted iron and tin stand with crown motif is what gives this piece its designer edge; I of course do not attach any snob value to its being sold through Neiman Marcus. One of my human's human friends says that that store should instead be called Markup, but my human says this joke is vulgar, and I'm inclined to agree.
